Music Ministry
At the Empowerment Center, the music & worship team seeks to connect worshippers of all ages and experiences to Christ through the gifts of music and related arts. We seek to honor God by leading others, and serving, with unity of purpose.
Worship Team
Praise & Worship Singers
A team of singers assists in leading worship each Sunday. This group is made up of soprano, alto and tenor voices. Among other things their role is to aid the congregation in singing heartily to the Lord. More often than not the congregation is taking their cues from these folks on how to sing, what to sing and appropriate expressions of worship.

Voices in the Wilderness Choir
This community choir sings hymns, traditional and contemporary gospel music. Renders music at hospitals, prisons and nursing homes, in conjunction with the Healing Ministry and as requested. Rehearses monthly. This music ministry is open to all young adults ages 18-35 from all over.
Musicians
These are the folks who lead us in worship by accompanying the songs we sing together each Sunday. Our band consists of keyboards, bass, drums, and electric and acoustic guitar.
Sound Operators
Qualified volunteers mix sound and operate the Sanctuary sound system during regularly scheduled celebration services, as well as some special events.
